A cleaner way for lens insertion/removal, minimises the risk of infection.
Suitable for all types of soft contact lenses, including daily disposables.
Instructions for Insertion:
- Wet inserter with Saline
- Place soft lens onto inserter cup (ensure lens is centred)
- Separate the upper and lower eyelids of the eye with one hand, whilst holding the soft lens inserter firmly at the finger grips with the other hand, at right angles to the eye
- Whilst looking into a mirror, gently place the lens directly upon the centre of the cornea
- Remove the inserter, and the lens will remain on the eye
Instructions for Removal
- Separate the upper and lower eyelids of the eye with one hand
- Ensure lens is centred on the cornea
- Holding the soft lens remover at right angles to the eye, carefully place the remover ridges on the lower portion of the lens
- Apply gentle pressure on the finger grips to break the surface tension between the lens and the cornea
Additional Options:
The soft lens inserter/remover can be stored in it's carrying case (included) up-right and filled with disinfecting solution. Rinse with saline before use.
