Choosing a Contact Lens Case
Many customers have asked us "Which type of contact lens case is right for me?"
There are many, many different types of contact lens cases available, and we are here to help you choose which type of lens case will be most suitable for you.
Choosing a contact lens case can be difficult, especially if you are new to wearing them, or if you have recently changed the type that you wear. Some cases, for instance, are only suitable for soft lenses, and not Hard or Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses.

Screw-top Contact Lens Cases are the most popular and widely available style of contact lens case. They are suitable for all types of contact lenses, and be be used for storage or overnight soaking. They are available in a wide range of colours, and have separate wells for each contact lens, to prevent you mixing up which lens is which. |

Flip-top Contact Lens Cases are suitable for all types of contact lenses. The lids only lift on one direction, making it harder to mix-up your left and right lens. They are ideal for anyone who struggles to un-screw conventional screw-top contact lens cases. Please note that flip-top contact lens cases are not suitable for use during heat disinfection. |

Barrel Contact Lens Cases are generally only suitable for soft lenses due to the shape of the holders, although the opticase barrel case is designed for Hard / RGP lenses. Suitable for storage or overnight soaking. Available in a range of styles and sizes. |

They usually contain a removable screw-top contact lens case, silicone-tipped tweezers (to prevent tearing or scratching your contact lens), empty bottle(s) to fill with a solution of your choice and an internal mirror. They range from being plain white to decorated with swarovski crystals, and make ideal gifts. |
